The writer gave a good sense and feel of the woman he interviewed. He also gave the reader a sense of Atlanta's texture and culture in his writing. He also gave a interesting parallel of the dynamic that exists between the old Harlem of the past and the Atlanta of today.

The article was a factual account that informed readers. It is extremely moving. A timely piece and a reminder of the respect we owe to our men and women in service. What a story.

The journalism aspect leaves something to be desired. One question I walked away with is how the diversity initiatives will be handled in the future. Secondly, if the suggestion is true that minority underestimate their potential in becoming a judge, there’s a totally different problem at hand. The article does however give a compelling depiction of the legal system regarding the lack of diversity.

The writer appears to give an accurate account of the special event and gives readers a sense of what the actual attendees experienced.

Its great to see more people reach out like Spike Lee that speak to African American students about the challenges and opportunities that exist for them today.

The writer works to balance both sides of the issue and gives a clear assessment of the challenges G.W. faces. The article also provides statistics on the numbers of black faculty members who have received advanced degrees and have yet to become faculty members at the institution.

The experience however is real and at times felt by many Black students across the country.

Sometimes the best journalism comes from telling a really good story that truly informs. This is one of them. A rare look at a subject not often seen in our daily news

It’s a fun interesting article that makes me excited to learn about the history of Blacks who’ve traveled all across the world. To see the chain of events that led one person on a journey to simply entertain friends and share a bit of history, to establishing an actual business enterprise is absolutely amazing.

The story seems to be pretty focused on the issue and doesn’t stray off into insignificant details. Several sources are cited in the article and the writer gives some history of the Republican Party as to provide some context for readers to keep in mind.

There’s no way to guarantee it, but it doesn’t hurt that the first Black president was recently elected in the history of the United States. It’s also no wonder to me that because of the failed attempts of the Republican Party to galvanize a new generation of leaders that the Republican Party wanted someone with a fresh face and new ideas to be the spokesman for their party. Hence, Michael Steel is the new chair.

I can only think that this is a tremendous step in the right direction for the healing of past wounds surrounding one of the greatest tragedies this country has ever witnessed.

There’s also no trace of opinion here. It’s a solid article. The writer here gives an account of the additional provisions found in the bill. He also makes sure to showcase both sides of the argument between Democrats and Republicans on the issue.

A very well written thorough analysis of the NAACP. The author takes adequate time to relay the organization’s history, its challenges, and introduce the new NAACP president Ben Jealous. The article gives significant insight into the life and background of Jealous and is a terrific read.
