I would call this good journalism but not quality journalism. There were a few biases the author made about Jealous being a tech geek and some of the quotes used seemed more humorous, rather than factual. However, it did present all the facts regarding the iissue of the new NAACP president.

This is quality journalism for a few reasons. The first reason is that there is no bias that can be heard in the article. The second it is talking about race and our economy in a non-stereotypical fashion, it states the facts.
I think that during these hard but hopeful times there will be many more cases such as the ones described in this story. Education will drop to an extent but then the pendulum will swing the other way, and people will be flocking to campuses once again.

I liked this article because it gave me some news that I likely would have missed. I had no idea what a big deal it was for the new election of the NAACP president. I didn't even know that the last president embarrassed the entire NAACP. This article made me realize that there is so much else going on in the U.S. and the world.
