A friend on a private discussion group recommend it to all of us. I have a BS from MIT and an MS from Princeton in Physics and consider myself politically unaffiliated by choice. I am very much of a scientific mind, but believe mankind should return to his more primal roots.

It highlighted the issue at hand, the response of Pakistan to it, whether they actually were moving troops away from their standing conflict with India to deal with it as promised, and lastly made mention of the US stance on the happenings as well as the possible future repercussions for the world. I think it encapsulated the entire story very well.

I think this is a particularly good article because it draws you inward with the backdrop of history at the beginning before moving onward to the present day, which is an effective writing technique which allows the reader to stay interested while making relevant points. The reading therefore has good content and flow.

I do think global warming should be a higher concern among Americans and the rest of the world than it is today. While I am Libertarian minded, I am reluctant to think a free maket steers a course favorable for our species.
