I am left feeling that there has to be SOME redeeming qualities about the existing milk price support structure, which the story failed to explain. Either I am wrong and the 1937 law is at this point a pure scam, and the congressmen who rose to defend it were just being corrupt, or else the story left some details out about what is good about the current system.
