Having worked in a good part of this Land as a Union Electrician, the Union Brothers taught me well how things should work for the Worker Man, by spreading out the wealth through an Honest Wage, not trickle up.

And a faithful follower of the group w bench movement.

This article touches well on a broken Congress that can not fix the problems that they have made.

This is just the basics of a better way to work, which has some links to Cooprative Movements popping up around America, that are modeled after the Mondragon Cooperative of the Basque in Northern Spain. Mondragon owns its own bank, like a Credit Union, and has its own Collage which trains its Worker Owners'.

Michael Dewey Comment:

Well, that is my profile photo on OEN. It had been the same on many social sites. After a while I have changed it on most. Mondragon has been my passion ever since I heard of of it 17 years ago. It does not need figure head. It only needs Communities to ... More »

The researchers have painstakingly sifted more than 160 scenarios, including in-depth examinations of four. The most optimistic of these predicts that renewables could account for close to 80% of total energy supply by mid-century, thereby cutting greenhouse-gas emissions by around one-third.

Our first reaction was to attack a country that had no connection to the 911 attack. As an occupying force our responsibility was to protect the lives, wealth and well-being of Iraqi citizens and to preserve their heritage and the many good things they enjoyed in life. Instead we did exactly the opposite of that, showing an almost total disregard for their lives, their heritage, their future, or their posterity. In fact we committed great atrocities, including awful war crimes against hundreds of thousands, in fact millions of innocent men, women and children.

Michael Dewey Comment:

I may have messed up my rating for it. I’m not here that much. I thought it was a point of view which needed to get around some.

The phrase consent of the governed has been turned into a cruel joke. There is no way to vote against the interests of Goldman Sachs. Civil disobedience is the only tool we have left.

Social Security and Medicare were never meant to be part of the Govt. Budget. The FICA tax is a completely separate tax. We can make sure that both are well Funded by expanding the tax to all income above the limit it now has of around 106k

Last week, Federal Chairman Ben Bernanke finally acknowledged that his preferred "solution" for ending Too-Big-To-Fail is likely unworkable. When the financial crisis exploded in 2008, top Fed and Treasury officials insisted that they did not have the legal authority to shut down faltering megabanks, leaving them no choice but to resort to massive bailouts. At a critical hearing last week, many of those same officials acknowledged that in at least one case, policymakers had plenty of authority, and actually went to extreme lengths to sidestep it in order to provide a bailout. Even Bernanke now seems to believe that we can expect the same insanity when the next crisis hits.

Fixing the Federal Reserve can not be talked enough about until it is fixed.

This is the topic which we should all Unite around before even health care. Josh is on the same wave length as me on this topic. For if we have trillions for the rich, we can fix health care.
