I actually am the Actual News Guy at NowPublic.

Here's the basic bumf: Spent 30 years in the news business, mostly TV. National reporter for CTV, Canada's big broadcaster. Reported on politics, technology, and when religion really started to change politics, began reporting on that too.

The news biz took me all over the place, most recently to Africa.

In Ottawa (Canada's capital) spent many years on Parliament Hill (similar to a White House reporter in the US). Lobbed questions at Mikhail Gorbachev and Boris Yeltsin, Ronald Reagan, George Bush and Bill Clinton. Irritated a number of CDN prime ministers.

Recent interviews: Franklin Graham (son of Billy Graham) to air on Biography Channel, and Galsan Tschinag. Working on a documentary for CBC about the Spirit Children of Ghana.
