Coming from back east I find ALL of CA. [ with the possible exception of the Bay Area] to be lacking the backbone to stand up for what they believe ~ I've been in CA. for 20 yrs. so perhaps it's a sign of the times for people all over the states to be afraid to act or even speak up.
