Really cool story, I liked the way it compared past presidents. I also liked the way it compares those presidents to Barack Obama. It's fair, it gives kudos to what the presidents did well and explains what they did wrong.
I believe that it is, it goes in depth and in detail. It is interesting to the reader and paints a picture. However, I found a little bit of cliche in some parts. Especially at the part when it says "Pat McMullen says as a cold spring rain lashes the dark, pot-holed street outside" .. What does that have to do with anything? Other than that, good story that seems like it took a lot of work. Well done.
A story from USA Today already has a sort of prestige to it. It is a trusted publication nationwide. The facts at the very bottom help the reader make a decision. I found it also yanked on the heart strings a little bit with explaining that children are becoming homeless as well. It's an issue American's can't ignore and by giving percentages and numbers, it brings the issue to life
This was my favorite story I red overall. I found it interesting, gripping, timely, and newsworthy. This is everything a news story should be. Voter fraud is a serious thing that most of us would never consider doing. It is a huge problem as of late with the ACORN scandal. The fact that these people were young voters is also more interesting. Will they go to prison or are they just spreading democracy?
Voter fraud should never be acceptable. I understand where these people are coming from, but is it really worth the consequences?
I thought it was a little biased toward Barack Obama's campaign. It kept on speaking about this grandmother (which was important, but it was a bit much). Also, it has a connotation that Barack Obama is going to fix the economy while John McCain will not.
They're like two little boys playing a "he said, he said" game. Focus on yourself, not the other person.

The economy DOES have an effect on real people, believe it or not. Lots of Americans like to turn a blind eye to the issue.
