This article reflected very well the tenants of journalism that a democracy should adhere too. I think the journalist provided an accurate view of the entire situation, and he left it up to the reader to decide for him or herself. Furthermore, the journalist clearly did research on the matter, providing the reader with a sense of the prior situation by communicating with a variety of different sources (although not all the sources would cooperate at times).
