this is good journalism because it informs the reader of a subject that I would probably not have been aware about had I not read this article. I am curious to see what Steve job's response is and how exactly the information was discovered. I think it is incomplete because much more information could have been included.
I didn't gain much from this article other than the councilman no longer running in the election. I wish there had been more factual information to complete the article because I finished reading with more questions than I had after reading the first sentence.
this is good journalism because the writer was able to get direct relevant quotes from the president of comedy central. Many tv shows on the network were listed and explained. However, this story was not very insightful and did not change my view on anything.
Yes, because many sources were cited and a lot of research was put into this to ensure the reader was fully informed. There were also many quotes throughout the article which is important and lets the reader know the journalist did the necessary work to get the most information possible.
This was good journalism however I think that the sources used should have been mentioned in the beginning. Until the middle of the story, I was questioning how accurate the statistics were and who these "experts and researchers" were. I think it also would have been beneficial to include more recent statistics, from 2009 or 2010.
This is good journalism because there are quotes from people of authority, like the CEO of the National Restaurant Association and the director of the nutrition policy. This article relates its problem to a current problem in our society and includes ways to hopefully solve it.
I believe it is good journalism because the journalist was able to get quotes from students as week as an Ohio State spokeswoman. I think if there were quotes from the president of the school however it would be more factual. This article was able to inform the reader what was happening while including both sides of the story, from the university and the prison.
This is good journalism because it included direct quotes from the woman in the article. The article includes beliefs from international human rights groups and it tells the story of what is happening which includes the perspectives from other journalists. This is a very sad story but I am so glad to have read it.
I do not believe this is good journalism because I did not feel the author captured the readers attention enough. I found the last sentence of the story to be the most interesting and felt the author included the least amount of important information possible. Not only did she not cite her sources, and had a grammatical error, but she also seemed to ramble about a variety of things. Although these things are all negative, the author did inform me of an immigration dilemma in Martha's Vineyard.
Although the information in this article was factual I found it to be a shame that there is such a huge crisis in Japan and so little was written about it. I would have been very interested to read much more about what was going on and how peoples lives are being changed drastically. I think this is such a tragic event that deserves much more attention. I did find the pictures to be very sad and my heart goes out to all that are affected.
