It is written by an economic Nobel prize winning scholar who offers some insight to the scholarly view of politics.

Krugman may be trying to get back into the mainstream media spotlight by advocating compromise in the healthcare reform political spectrum. This is not the same Krugman that criticized Obama for using the same people in his administration to control the economy that caused the economic collapse.

Imperfect as it is, the legislation that passed the Senate on Thursday and will probably, in a slightly modified version, soon become law will make America a much better ... More »

A comprehensive analysis of recent items in the news surrounding the Ft Hood shooting and an interesting take on the coincidence of the shooting happening in proximity to Veterans Day and Obama's decision to send more troops to Afghanistan.

Skepticism abounds on so called terrorist acts ever since Bush used these as an excuse to wage preemptive war. It seems too logical that this shooting would happen on the eve of his decision to send out more troops and with a growing anti-war sentiment among the general American population.

This is absolutely amazing. We have the most well equipped military and intelligence agencies in the world and yet they can’t stop known terror suspects with simple box ... More »

Comprehensive reporting from multiple credible sources on various angles of the reasons behind the Ft Hood shooting.

PTSD is rampant and highly underrated. The military has a standing policy to diminish its pervasive devastating impact on our troops both during and after their terms of service.

An insightful look at Obama's statement on why universal healthcare would disrupt the economy.

The only economy affected by universal healthcare is the criminal insurance industry.

This is a in depth explanation of a healthcare protest action made through an interview with one of the participants as the sit-in and arrests take place in the background. The accompanying text goes on to explain the situation with more quotes from doctors.

Doctors and healthcare professionals will continue to protest the weak insurance reform and the horrible current system until they see a universal health care, non-profit plan in place.

It’s interesting that the right tea baggers agree with the left in this area. Both sides agree that government bailout spending is wrong. But the right has been deluded ... More »

A comprehensive first hand account of the event.

Doctors, health care professionals and other protesters continue to hold rallies and sit-ins in favor of a universal health care system, such as medicare for all. They will not acknowledge pelosi's statement that single payer is off the table.

This is yellow journalism. The writer is obviously politicaly prejuduuced aginst MSNBC and sees them as a left wing consiracy of sorts. He also appears to be strongly affiliated or at least in step with the right wing poltical agenda, known to have infamously used "astro-turf" corporate backed organizations to populate town halls with fake "people". What MSNBC is doing is not fake. There's nothing at all fake about real health clinics offering real medical services. This is a great charitable gesture on the part of MSNBC. The right has a history of self projection of their misgivings upon their left opponents as a form of defense.

Well referenced account of investigative sources report on Congressional payouts by the health care insurance industry.

Congress is paid off. That's why it's so hard to pass meningful health care reform.

This is the biggest problem with health care reform in Washington. Too many Congressmen are on insurance company campaign contribution (i.e. payoff?) payrolls. Feinstein is ... More »

Jon's Rating

A comprehensive analysis of the potential effect of the media to stop war.

Wars can be stopped through communication. The military has to censor the media in order to keep wars going.

Your government, the U.S. government, has learned that to wage war they must censor all media. There are virtually no images of the current wars. The ones you do see are ... More »
