More partisan hackery from DailyKos. Kos is not a news site, it's a hatchet mob for the Bush administration. Read the comments if you really want to know what this site is about.
Well done and well worth the read. The burqa (or lack of one) is a very public aspect of Islam. A good article on what the ladies want and what the men rule and the struggle in between.
Crooks and Liars is just an anti-GW blog, and doesn't belong here on NewsTrust. I don't see the right winger blogs here. These things don't belong.
Or maybe "...listed fewer species as threatened or endangered than any of its predecessors." means exactly what it ways. Bureaucrats on both sides of the aisle are bullies and must be called out. It's nice to see some domestic "do good" from the Bush administration.
Since when is Dailykos.com breaking news? Pelosi is grandstanding and loving every minute, comments made to a blogger don't really constitute news. Bush vetoed the bill. They can submit a new one that's not full of Democratic pork and timetable distractions.
Only democrats lead by following polls. This is disappointing. And only 1000 adults polled? Why does this even get in the queue?
Tired, poor, huddled masses, yearning to be free: Welcome home. Tax dodgers, welfare vacuums, emergency room campers: Sorry, we're not a welfare state. This article suggests that the HIV positive they portray have taken ill by accident or magic. The whole world knows what'll get you HIV and America should not have to embrace people that care so little of themselves that they're quite unlikely to take good care of this nation.
Soldiers are trained to "kill people and break things." To highlight the fact that "a third of troops...had cursed at civilians" is just ludicrous. This whole article is cherry-picked troop bashing. Read the full MHAT (link at bottom) report and be surprised upon seeing the full picture.
A decent read, but it comes off a bit "tin foil hat"ish. Mr. Palast could have done well to source some of his arguments - hyperlinks are easy. The Presidential election is some ways a way so Mr. Palast has time to do his homework and submit something that will be taken more seriously, and at a very crucial time.
Copy protection in the digital world has become an "us or them" fight to the death. Is it savvy anarchist hackers vs. humble media execs? Unusually outspoken consumers vs. greedy bureaucrats and greasy lawyers? Music lovers vs. the bands they love? This is an interesting fight and the landscape changes every day. Good article for those that didn't watch it "live" on Digg.
