I'm a 64 year old white male who believes that the United states of America is the best nation in the world. I'm all for legal immigration, and against any illegal immigration. I believe that our two party system is in a shambles, and a third or fourth party would be great. Our politicians are corrupt and could care less about the common person. They do well for themselves on our money, and the bribes of lobbists. All politicians who are presently holding office should be fired at the polls and replaced with ditch diggers, truck drivers, nurses, waitresses, lumberjacks, rough necks, firemen, police officers and cowboys, etc. Those serving in Congress should be limited to two (2) terms in office. And all politicians should be quaranteed Medicare insurance at retirement the same as the rest of us, with no special insurance plans just for serving in Congress. I believe if the Federal Government will not do their job of protecting our borders, then the states have the right to protect themselves as best they can. I believe that the news should be reported truethfully and without bias, no matter what that trueth is...and that is why I joined NewsTrust.
Senator Graham could be attempting to draw attention to the lack of leadership in solving our border problems. I am a Conservative Southern Democrat, and believe that any ammendment to our Constitution should be able to standup to any examination at any time. If it can not be examined, then we don't need it.
This is great journalism in that the reporter is not afraid to tell the truth even though the so called "Establishment" doesn't want to hear it. I can't see the states rolling over in a do nothing position while our federal government refuses to listen to the majority of its' citizens as they call for action, now. This issue is not closed.
Julia Preston, seems to be patting the judge on the back, while slapping the rights of the states in the face. This could backfire on the Obama political machine in a very bad way, since the border wars get bloodier by the day, and our Federal Government continues to sit on it's hands while catering to the Hispanic community. Most Mexican Americans that I know feel that illegals should be returned to their own country. They are tired of supporting illegals and criminals, as most of America is. At one time, in the U.S.A., the majority ruled...it would seem that those times are gone.
It compares and contrasts the Obama and Bush regimes fairly, while pointing out weaknesses and strengths of both.
