I find the reviews of the story as revealing as the story and so I decided to post a somewhat contrarian view. The issue with exclusives is that they need to justify themselves in their worldview -- that is, this had to come out of the gate exposing a scandal. But there is also a view that this is not a scandal, that data mining of aggregate data is legitimate and necessary. I don't think that view was adequately represented in the story. And I'm not necessarily saying that I take one view or another but just that the story did not give me sufficient basis to make that judgment.
