I think this article was a good analysis. While it does show a disturbing statistic (violence rising), it fails to say what the cause is or allude that there may be an underlying cause. It's good journalism, but could go deeper to be even better.
I think this is just an attempt by the site to aggregate others content and get search hits off of PolitiFact.
This is very good journalism. While it is very much an opinion piece, it is a good one. It clearly lays out the larger picture of the economic crisis that so many others fail to explain. It does not attempt to simplify a complicated problem.
This is quality journalism, but for all the talk in the story of how close GM is to failing, I would have liked to see some context of what that would mean. How many jobs would be lost? What other economic repercussions would follow a GM bankruptcy? Things like that.
I think this is quality journalism. While it does lack context to the common reader, something I feel every article should have, it does an adequate job of telling a specific story of a specific, confusing topic. Not an amazing job, but an adequate one.
It is. I would have liked to see some input from someone at a hedge fund, considering they were portrayed fairly negatively. Also, some way for people to relate to this topic would have been nice. As it stands, most people would have a hard time making the connection to how this affects them.
