This story discusses a unique topic and provides adequate support around it however it is very short does not provide elaboration much context for its main assertions. The author does provide citation for the main source. Overall i like the article and think it is a very interesting topic i would just like to see more information and support for the story as a whole.

This story serves the purpose of a hard news story and strictly gets the most pertinent facts to the readers and in the most direct fashion possible. This leaves the door open for follow up stories that can provide more depth into the situation. The writing was concise and served its purpose, displayed good journalism although the story is not a pressing issue and affects mostly people around the bar.

Lacks professional tone in certain areas and does not elaborate much on the title. The title is misleading in that the story actually discusses teens in the inner harbor more so then the actually incident and the stabbing that occurred. The story does discuss a growing issue in the inner harbor community and provides a new light on how the reporters are getting information although i would say that the title was inappropriate and leads the reader to believe that it will be based on ... This story is a great example of a hard news story that will allow for a follow up once more information is available. The story lacks depth but serves the purpose of strictly getting the information to public in order to clear up a topic of interest and that is pertinent in the community. Overall well written with reputable sources and context for people who might not know the entire story.

This is a well-written editorial look at a large public figure by a reputable author. This story provides the perspective a man who worked in the area as a reporter for 40 years and described his brief encounters with William Donald Schaefer. This is definitely a story that will convey the politician as a person to those who were not able to witness his actions while he was on the scene as a large public figure.

This story is informative and basically gives first insight into a new project in the Baltimore area. There is a typo in the lead which distracts attention from the story somewhat, however this is a strictly hard news story that serves the purpose of getting the information to the public. Does not provide quotes from many sources but overall gives an overview of what the project will entail and basic plans for its construction.

This story is an in-depth look at the life of a large public figure within the community. The author pulls in quotes from a variety of sources to provide a wealth of information. Relatively no bias because the author utilized so many different quotes and perspectives. The story also covers not just his actions as mayor of Baltimore and governor of Maryland but also what he did and how he acted when everyone wasn't watching. Overall, well-written and informative story that I would ... More »

The author provides a clear view of her perspective through this story however, the antics she is referring too have been well documented and did not shed a light on a new occurrence. The topic isn't necessarily original although the journalism involved was more then adequate and kept the reader interested, the topic was just not engaging or original.

This story both covers a pressing issue and also presents good journalism. The author has quotes from various different Maryland residents who present both sides of the story and provide support for the author's assertions. The story flows in a logical order and is a very in-depth look at the unemployment in maryland

I find this article to be good journalism and an accurate display of what a hard news story should be. The author provides only facts and does not impede the reader's perception of the article with unnecessary bias.

This article is well written and easy to read and follow, however the story only pertains to a small audience and i do not believe that many people would find this article very interesting. The story could also benefit from quotes from associates from under armour or Major League Baseball.

I find this article to contain good journalism but also have room for improvement. The author does a good job of incorporating the main themes that you infer from the title although Obama is not incorporated throughout, only briefly. There is a somewhat in-depth analysis although this story does not pertain to many people outside of the vineyard. The story could benefit from the use of more quotes and more information cited directly from locals or residents and there is not a lot of ... More »
