This piece of journalism takes a close look at the fight for gay rights in South America. This is a moment in Argentina's history that calls for a landmark legislation.
This piece was interesting because although it targeted a group of people outside of South America individuals of Latino descent still showed their solidarity and in essence that is truly the heart of human rights.
This was a thoroughly written piece of journalism which brought a lot of insight about the many cultures of Japan.
Although this "article" talked about many developments in Japan it did mention why these projects were being implicated or their purpose. The article forgot to cite informative services, they did however do a lot of name dropping. This article is not quality journalism.
This is an opinion piece which makes it hard to trust this publication. It didn't have many cited sources and because of that I was a bit weary of this piece.
This journal takes an interesting look into higher ed culture in Japan. The idea that being taught in your "own home" has more value than being taught in another place is an interesting thesis. A someone who is interested in education I understand that cultural differences play a major part in educational outcomes and this article makes a good argument.
This article is definitely biased. It takes a focus on business and because of that it seems as though the whole picture is not being shown.
Although the story came form the NYT it was rather vague. More detailed would have helped for a richer article.
I'm not sure if this even falls under journalism for the simple fact that there seem to be no sources. The biggest issue that I had with this article was its lack of political resources. If logging is to be sanctioned there must be some power behind it. What is the power and why is it not a source in this article?
This is quality journalism because there are many sources listed in this article. You have world organizations, first person accountants, and an outsiders perspective. Through this lens one is able to see the entire spectrum of the story. This article does a good job of not exploiting the people of Somali.
