I think this article is a fun, short piece on eco-friendly approaches. It doesn't contain detailed, in-depth information about the subject, but it does offer readers insight into some of the government's new "green" initiatives.

This is not a new topic. Many Latin American countries, from what I've read, have tried this type of system. I think the article needed more information, as well as other interviews. I would've interviewed kids, families that are benefitting from this initiative. Overall, the reporter gives many statistics, but fails to mentions where they come from until about a few paragraphs in. I don't think it transitions well, but overall it's relevant information.
This is the type of journalism I like. It's informative and entertaining to read at the same time. The issue exposed is one I've known for years, but usually there are some facts missing. I think for anyone who doesn't know about it, the reporter gives a fair, accurate depiction of it.
