I think this story shows some good journalistic techniques, but it is definitely lacking a few as well. I think Hulland's style of writing is clear, concise, and the topic is compelling. However, it doesn't seem as though Hulland is necessarily presenting two sides to this story. He only has two sources quoted in his story, and one of them is the principal of City Springs schools. This article, which is heavily in favor of the work City Springs is doing, may have been better balanced with the inclusion of an interview with a source that is unrelated to the school---someone who might be able to provide another (possibly oppositional) point of view.
