Fault lines of geography and demographics (particular those of Hispanic origin) are prevalent in this article. IF they spread out the Demographics more then pheraphs it might improve the story.

Employs the common stereotype that homeless people are vagrants and of no use. I also feel that the use of "Mecca for the homeless" is a poor choice. Mecca is a holy place for Muslims not a place and is not a name to be used so freely.

By using Bibb as a example of a father behind bars this story uses a personal responsibility framing. By using a personal anecdote, the writer puts a face to the issue. Bibb no longer is a statics. To think that there are many more out there like Bibb influences the reader to delve more into the subject. w5.1 Faultline: Male

This news article deals with Latino voters and how different regions are affected by their votes. The story does not chose sides on immigration policies but rather states the outcome of Latino voter impact on different regions. The story offers different perspectives on different regions across the United States. It also goes to lengths to describe Gov. Jan Brewer as a celebrity for signing the Arizona law on immigration checks by peace officers. Very interesting insight. w1.2

Absolutely right, the Gulf is still in turmoil and the News has basically cut coverage on the matter. This Story shads light on the problem at hand. However is it right to point fingers at a single person or in this case a firm? BP had its interest in providing us oil. Oil that we need at the moment. Whether we drive a Prius or a Hummer, bike or hike, we are all dependent on oil in some way. It is because of our dependency on oil that drove BP to Drill. BP was just trying to sustain life as we know it. If there was someone to blame in all of this, it would be us, the Human race.
