This is a good article! Mainly because the author has a backbone which is rare in the media these days.
This article reports from more than just one source which is good. I don't think there is any bias in the article. I care more about the information in the article than the personality of the one who wrote it. The information was a blunt way at looking at the dire straits the Iraqi people despite the so-called beefed up security in the capital. The article brings you to the reality that there is no one group in charge of Iraq!
This article truly shows a lack of objective journalism. Our media has turned into an irrelevant entity as a source of information. They are reporting on advertisements on during a sporting event while our constitution is being trampled on. Why doesn't anyone do a story on the Federal Reserve Bank? This is what deregulation and consolation does to our democracy!
Bush not mentioning N.O is not surprising! What I'm surprised about is that he and his administration can get away with anything without being challenged by the main stream media.
I have to admit I couldn't finish the article because it start sounding like paparazzi journalism. Sorry if I mis-judged this article it just not something I would ever read so I gave it a try!
Same old Washington belt way talk only. It seems that the journalist are doing more trying to follow the "what if..." more than how does he legislate. How does he govern? What effects will he have on the average American? How is he financed? Does he keep his promises ? You know real questions that people outside of the usual suspects of Washington DC's beltway paparazzi like journalism.
I wish the mainstream media would research history and take a look at the constitution like the author of this story has. Maybe they are pretending not to know for some other insidious reason!
Great article if I was only looking at the distractions and not the obvious! If I thought that they had just made mistakes and misjudgments up to this point I can endorse this article. The one question people always shy away from is, Who made us the world police and the champions of democracy? We Americans need to do more research in to the workings of our government in our name from the past to now. Wake up people we are being robbed and everything else is just theater!
This is a good story if you only one to hear one side of the story. It seems just quoting government officials isn't very reliable. Always quoting officials without verifying if its true are not has been a CNN trend after 9/11! They should of at least had true Iraqi citizens comment about the hanging (both for and against)!
Another one of our boys survived the middle east only to be gunned down by the trigger happy authoritarian police. He needed therapy not the sheriffs department!
I wish more stories get out like this. God knows this isn't the first or the last time this will happen. Also, I just thought I'd add that I still don't believe that "Bush" fully served in the Air National Guard as obligated in the contract.
