This article is very important because it reveals a bigger problem within Southwest airlines and their individual aircrafts. However, the sources were not always identified clearly or in depth, just citing a "representative" from a specific agency. However, I think it was well-written and informative and gave a greater understanding as well as a historical context to the larger issue at hand. I would have liked to hear from travelers though, or people who had been on the original ... More »

I thought this article was very useful because it explains how individuals can be tricked to give out their personal information online, so it was an important issue that people should know about. It cites multiple experts, explains the issue at hand (hackers trying to get individual's personal information) and then gives a brief history on how other people have been spammed before and how this spamming happens. I thought it took a complicated IT issue and turned it into and issue ... More »

I think this is an extremely relevant article, as it pertains to a very important struggle in which the U.S. is deeply involved, however, it is complicated and therefore a bit difficult to understand. I do think the article covers a lot of ground and is in-depth, however, with this type of story there is always the ability to dig deeper. Several sources are just sourced as "U.S. Officials" and the article does not explain why these sources cannot be named, so it seems as if it is not ... More »

I think this article is very relevant because many families and individuals are struggling with the economy. However, the article does not hear from these families or individuals that it is speaking about at all, which makes the article lack in context. Also, only one person is actually quoted in the article -- everything else is just statistics and facts. It would have made things more understandable if an expert had explained these facts and figures more. Also, it was pretty short, ... More »

I thought this article was really well-written as well as really interesting. However, it is not really well-sourced, because it just writes "Experts say," but does not have any quotes from actual experts. However, since this is a magazine-style article, this is not unusual. I really liked the author's style, as well as the way they explained the situation -- the article was very easy to understand. I really enjoyed the article.
