Good report on lack of security and government cover-up of security problems. Makes me wonder what else Home Land Security is hiding from Americans.

Ex-CIA officer called on to explain varied accounts Senator: Plame's versions add to 'misinformation'
Adds some much needed balance to what happened related to prewar intelligence and the actors in it. Also interesting is Senator Rockefeller's wanting to ignore relevant facts in the investigation.
Good Grief! Would you like some cheese with that whine! I see the reality as something much different. The declining interest and trust is something that newspapers and much of the traditional broadcast news has brought on themselves. We are talking about a media that has created stories that are "Fake but accurate" (Dan Rather and fake Texas National Guard documents, Fake photos from the Middle East), uses reporters who make up stories (Jayson Blair and several others). slanted bias articles (Almost any newspaper story where Liberal good, Conservative bad), one sided reporting of scandals (NO NATIONAL REPORTING of Harry Reid and Barak Obama real estate dealings, Senator Feinstein's questionable dealings on the Armed Forces ... Finally someone pointing a finger at the real problem with Darfur - China and the impotence of the U.N in dealing with any crisis.
Some balance to the steady stream of "Good News" about China. There is so seldom anything written about the many problems in China that I am surprised that it was written. After all, you have to search long and hard to find any mention of the protests, stock market problems and corruption that exist and could well lead to severe problems in the future.
Opinion piece rather then news. If they were being fair they would have mentioned A.C.O.R.N. voter fraud efforts. Checking to see if someone is really registered is not bad based on the number of falsely filled out registration cards turned in by various voter registration drives.

Starting off with the Times "cowboy" imagery and tying that to Bush was a bad start. It had no relevance to the story. Also there was an unnecessary discussion on Iraq. That is past. What is Sarkozy planning on for the future. Once again The New York Times goes off into it's own agenda rather then provide useful information
Someone shining the light of rationality on multiculturalism. For an opinion piece he lays out some very good arguments as to why people need to resist believing all cultures are equally valid.
