Excellent digging to follow the money and conflicts of interest in an organization recently exposed as controlled by right wing idealogues. The end detours a bit toward alternative medicine that lacks rigorous effectivity testing, but maybe that is where some independent research money should go; to prove or disprove those alternatives.

Enterprising and needed journalism, told in fearless detail that communicates the emotional impact of the societal hate that is so fierce it leads to suicides. Strongly recommended reading for anybody with a heart and an ability to handle a tough story.

As big money corrupts and breaks the soul of our democratic process, it is also corrupting the commercial press which brings us the ads as well as the news -- and implicit conflict of interest that needs to be addressed if there is to be a reason to trust the news.

American Airlines is financially sound with fully financed pension funds. The are filing for "bankruptcy" as the most convenient way to attack their workers and abrogate their social contracts.

Feb Harpers has an article about how silicon valley and Apple are colluding to limit the job mobility of US workers. This exploitation of workers by corporations is world wide. How about putting worker representatives on every corporate board, like we imposed on Germany?
