The story omits what I consider the bigger crime. Inhofe is a prime climate change denier, and monster storms are a predicted consequence of a warmer climate. Inhofe's role of stonewalling change makes him complicit in all the death and destruction.

This is another example of corporations run by the rich bullying nation states to avoid paying a fair share of taxes into the common purse of the people.
