Nothing interesting, just hard work and love of our country. Joined to voice a different view of propaganda and poor or misleading news that will probably anger many. The "news" IMHO is mostly opinion with the last few paragraphs giving a hint of facts.

All history unknown - goes back many years and probably linked to the money made from dope fields. About every strong country has tried to change the country and has failed. It will go on for many more years unless we stupidly destroy the entire country. But new wars are going to make that country a sideshow as we fight among ourselves to solve the downslide of stocks and overall downturn. Possibly as we did after 1933 with world war II to find a way to out of the depression WITH WAR.

Locations are not listed and not been evaluated. Sounds like the same BS for the last years over something unknown to public or can be checked for accuracy!

This is just another story of The Washington Post trying to obfuscate the undebatable question of a Plame's outing. We all now know what Fitzgerald found out early that there was no outing crime committed! Fitzgerald had to find something, anything to keep the story in the headlines and the left wing media salivates on any thing, true or false, regarding the Administration and the media's goal of a cue.

Truthful, timely, important and should not be considered a homeland political device in the War in Iraq.

Detainee rights have and will remain ambiguous. The real argument and failure on the part of the public in not supporting legal history of detainee's not in uniform. This apparently minor glitch in the Convention on War is being ignored by the public and a Main Stream Media narrowly focused on destroying the President more than the threats to Democratic nations. A sad and possibly disastrous interpretation making it impossible to defeat rogue nations or perhaps protect ourselves within the country.

I am always inspired by the far left absolute hatred for any media that is not following the Marxist plan of destroying all oppositions to anything but the shining path to socialism or communism. just as the Hitler did with his National Socialist Party making Germany a so called far right nation. When, in fact, it was Socialist blunder to destroy anyone or anything that got in its way to domination. Other than that the comment was ill advised.

The fact is that all polls are based on written questions by a person or persons with a goal in mind for the answers they want. To do so they are carefully written to guide the answers to their predetermined conclusions. These people are smart and are often paid by those with a desire for the right conclusions. As such most polls are trash and the answers are used to form a particular goal - political, business, personal, etc. To use one poll or a dozen polls may be popular with the public, but far more important to the people paying for them. There should be a disclaimer regarding political matters identifying the organizations buying them and the political agenda of the writers, i.e, registered Demorat or Repluicrat, etc.

It may lead back to the idea of Dead or Alive mentality for soldiers. Even so, a decentralized military force could take faster action without hours (or weeks) of passing approval for and action. To defeat terrorists perhaps we should use terrorist stratagems to counter the decentralization of terrorist cells. Anyway, who said you can win a war by being nice nice?

A wonderfully written Op Ed! I wish the ideas were so, but we are still animals and will always remain animals. Yes, civilized countries can pretend they are not. However, there have always been wars and there will probably always be wars. Small wars between tribes do not even make it to the history books. Yet, the history of man is surrounded by war and unless there is a world domination by an undefeatable dictatorial power wars will continue. Unfortunately, if this happens there will be mass executions of those that do not walk the line. It should be the function of our so called "free country" to remain free with limited internal laws and when possible defend our freedom on some else's land.

The story sounds great, well written, but maybe basically based on predetermined conclusions or political bias. Global warming being the most annoying with the usual supposition based on all scientist and not on only those scientist totally involved in that discussion. Therefore, when the vast majority of scientists are not directly involved in that specific study it falls into the political arena.

A great writing! No matter how well written it is politics of the past to disgrace the USA for doing the correct action. Yes, we wanted Saddam to disrupt Iran and perhaps other countries. Today, it is difficult to say that Iran and other countries in the area are not truly planning more attacks on the USA and other countries. Bush did something smart and brave by trying to set up a foothold in Iraq. Everyone, but the stupid should understand that if Iran goes nuclear a foothold in Iraq is the only way to defend the USA and other non-Moslem countries! We should also understand it is the reason that all those boarder countries are funding and suppling fighters into Iraq to get the West out of the center of their Arab countries. ... More »

The story appears to be an attempt to dig up old graves. If you belive that Nixon workers did something extraordinary in breaking into a Democratic Office then one would have to be extraordinarily naive. Nixon agents got caught, but all contenders are trying to find dirt or strategies on opponents. Someone in each contenders staff or bizarre followers are going to attempt to dig up dirt. Few get caught, but undoubtedly there are many that succeed in obtaining information unfavorable to their opponents. If it were an impeachable offence it would have been detrimental to the country since the end goal was to oust Nixon and that was a success for the Democrats. To follow the impeachment path would have created a process that ... More »
