It's important to be operational at both poles of the communication cycle we all have with Institutional media. We can't just be sponges and simply absorb and then as a stimulus response automaton, oblige the propaganda with the requested behavior. No, we must read and contemplate and decide if what were are reading is truth, useful, helpful and good, or if it is simply self serving manipulative language that benefits a special interest promulgator. A certain objectivity is a matter of personal responsibility, survival and most important, needed for personal integrity. So here I will read first, think and feel, and then react and respond. In the end this site is too top heavy handed to ever fullfill its mission statement. It's regretable that this little edit will be my last activity at Newstrust.

With infinite capacity to monetize debt and a compliant congress always ready to raise the debt ceiling, of course there’s no doubt the USA will never lose it’s AAA rating. This is the very thing the tea baggers were ... More »

This is just an obvious and rather natural extension of the Government’s over all “License To kill”. It starts with the death penalty, abortion, denying terrorists any right to defend themselves legally and now this. As with most things, Americans only have ... More »

Lack of financing seems to be a common theme through these reports of no construction work. Easy to blame the banks, but that probably doesn’t tell the whole story of how developers were allowed to over build. All these union workers idled makes you wonder about all those all of ... More »

This article ostensibly has facts and the strange Government statistics which seem to interpret the facts with a huge dose of cognitive dissonance.

Why not close Gitmo? Because somebody doesn’t want their budget cut, a certain corporation runs Gitmo for the Government. Why not have civilian trials for these terrorists? because all the lies might unravel about the so called War On terror.

This wouldn’t be the first change of venue for a criminal trial. The problem seems to be that too many officials are running from this. How long can we simply bury these people and what if any truth there is to know about 911 they could possibly reveal?

Justice delayed is justice denied. We can dress this up any way we want as a Nation, we can hide behind Political parties, expenses, blow back fears, but the bottom line is, we have charged these people with a crime, it’s time to bring it all out in the open. It’s not ... More »

The guys entitled to his Opinion and as a published far and wide writer, gives it right here. So, what's my opinion, do I think we should keep Bernanke on because replacing him might make things worse? Well, I think Bernake's loyalties lie else where than just the simple American public. But then that's why a complete open, fully public audit of the Fed will never be done, because the people that own it(The FED) and the nations they are loyal to would get at least a shrug out of us simple Americans, perhaps even a raised eyebrow, ala Commamder Spock

This story has no real context. It doesn't show how this fits in with the changes promised with the Obama presidency. The story fails to point out how agencies that actually work for the positive good of Americans seem to be bearing the brunt of the cuts. While the pigs feeding at the trough seem to be guaranteed continued un limited access to Federal reserve funny money and deficit shenanigans

The Priviledge of Public service. In the elitistcentric cycle we're in the Emphasis seems to be more on the "priviledge" rather than the service. Even less the public. In good OpEd writing the standard is the righteous indignation. Is it justified? Is the writing persuasive? In this example my answer is yes to both.
