Author cites sources and her own possible conflicts of interest very clearly. Her research has disclosed a really interesting and troublesome conflict in academic research which is supported by corporate donations. She has presented a very good question for thought and further analysis.
Even as a lawyer I hadn't realized that the conflicts of interest had reached this deeply into the legal academic environment. This was a real eye opener. I find it interesting that the schools are spending so much time trying to define and police "cheating" in the classroom when their professors are so clearly being influenced from outside business interests.
An interesting perspective which raises a lot of interesting questions regarding the author's point of view and his criticism. While he raises a lot of interesting points and certainly uses colorful and descriptive language it is hard to tell how valid his criticisms are or what his motives might be exactly. It would be very interesting to see some more perspectives from the black community on this topic.
This story raises similar questions as were raised during the Bush Administration, but now Democrats have to reconsider the problem now that a Democratic president is offering similar solutions regarding assassinating American citizens who are supporting terrorist actions against the US.

Really important topic, but not very well sourced or presented. Hopefully they will do a much better job with in depth research and analysis.
