Unvarnished information from an US Army EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) officer currently working in Iraq, regarding the source of weapons being used by terrorists, insurgents, and criminals in Iraq. In depth, detailed video interview with analysis.

This story comes from the conservative side of the blogosphere, however it provides an interesting analysis of the problems socialism has competing in the global marketplace.

I have only one major concern with this generally good article. The headline versus the content. Things don't look particularly good for either party (as stated deeper in the article), however the headline makes it appear that things are going poorly for only the GOP. the first sub-headline gets it a little better, "Bad news for the GOP -- and the Democrats".

What's the difference between being "members of an international terror organization" and "disciples of Osama Bin Laden"? It's not like they have official membership cards and secret decoder rings.

While future prognostication isn't easy or accurate, this article does add some interesting context to the trending growth or reduction of various metropolitan areas, and what it could mean for the 2010 makeup of the House of Representatives.

This article is blatantly pro-union. Additionally, the article claims several times that Wal*Mart engaged in illegal activities with respect to US Labor laws, but never details what these violations are. The article mentions the need to change US Labor Laws in addition to changing Wal*Mart's labor practices to be more "fair". Fair to whom? The workers as represented by a union?
