this is ok journalism as it does have some balance. it is also well sourced. In terms of social capital conservatives would probably want to be harder on Iran as Graham says is necessary, but liberals would most likely not be in support of graham as they are already against the war and do not want the U.S. spending more money than it can afford at the moment

This is not that good of journalism because it is not a very balanced article and has a little too much opinion that gets in the way of the information presented although there are some reliable sources. In terms of social capital this information probably enrages people who are legal citizens to that the fact that illegal immigrants are pretty much here to stay and without punishment, since it would cost the country so much money to deport all the immigrants.
