This story is well-sourced and very important reading for those trying to learn about John McCain's true positions on matters of vast importance.

Founding Member (since May 2008)I am a 53 year old "political activist" from Atlanta, Georgia. I have been actively involved with monitoring the actions of our government and responding via email to our members of Congress and others regarding their actions and/or inactions. I post my opinions on blogs daily, and save a copy of everything I write. My father was a copy editor for The Atlanta Journal, and I have always loved writing myself, but only writing of the non-fiction variety. In addition to writing personal political opinions, I also write poetry and songs related to same. I have no formal education in journalism, but over the last 8 years have felt many times that I could write better than many of the journalists whose articles I read. I have worked in large corporate lawfirms for 30 years and learn many things about the business world on a daily basis. I have worked in the areas of securities, immigration, mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate. I guess you could say that I'm "sleeping with the enemy" since I am of the belief that the corporate world has overtaken our government and it is they (or it) that now rules the people. I am more interested in getting my own perspectives and opinions published than anything since I find that many times I hold a unique point of view that has not been explored.

This story is an opinion and it seems balanced insofar as not leaning more towards McCain or Obama. Being that's its an opinion, my trust in it would be far greater if I knew more about the writer and whether there's some expertise on their part to back up their opinion.
This story is a story for a local market, and probably means more to people in that market than anyone else.
Glenn Greenwald is the most thorough journalist around. He sources everything he writes with links to the source. His memory for detail and his organization of those details is incredible. All politicians should beware of reversing themselves while Glenn is on the job.
This story was a commentary talking about candidates wearing flag lapel pins and how that should be a non-issue. The only thing is, writing a commentary about it being a non-issue, reinvigorates it as an issue.
Although the article seems to be somewhat fair, it leans towards favoring McCain. I do not find it to be a well-sourced article.
The best thing about this story is how it reveals that behind some of these non-profits, some with very misleading names, lurks an organization that in reality is an extension of McCain's campaign. So, for that reason, it's good journalism. I'd like to see much more of this in the mainstream press.
