Should international agencies allow farmers to grow food? Aide and economic assistance require countries to grow coffee, flowers and other exports which depend on imported fertilizers, pesticides and seeds. The U.S. and Europe domestic agriculture production are subsidized it is less expensive than the food produced by indigenous farmers. Domestic food production should be encouraged.
