The article could have gone into more detail regarding other opinions, but overall it was a well, written and balanced piece. It discussed different angles of the issue and had a clear explanation of why our troops are still in Iraq. This clarified some questions I had previously had about our troops being there. I feel that it could have gone into more detail with the other views and notions because it only contains one source, which are quotes directly from Barney Frank.

The article clearly shows that the oil spill isn't completely clean. It didn't go into much detail about the oil spill, other than showing that the beach is still being affected. I feel that this article could impact the public discussion about the spill greatly because it shows how much effort is going into covering up the remains of the aftermath.






The frame of this piece is personal responsibility in that it directly accuses Lou Dobbs of being hypocritical. The author goes so far as to compare Dobbs' hypocrisy to that of Thomas Jefferson, who raged against slavery while partaking in it. The author later reveals Meg Whitman as a hypocrite as well, alluding to the plight with her “illegal” maid.
