in nepal, children with disability are sidelined. culture sees them an unfortunate lot, their disability a result of past life's sin and the government isn't doing much to help educate disabled children. writer of this op ed is a research scholar from nepal, and he is first person with disability from nepal to earn a PhD..his view is worth reading.

maoist issue is a big problem for india and unfortunately the government-central, state and local have failed to see the reason the fuels the maoists. india has huge wealth, education opportunities gap. the cities are zooming ahead while the rural areas are far behind. maoists are taking advantage of this gap
