Some repetition in the article...but maybe when talking about weddings, its only but so many words you can use.

This was a good story, but I think the writer could have done a little better with organizing the story. There were good quotes, but it got a little confusing when it jumped from one quote by one person to another quote by another.
I think this is a great program. There are a lot of fathers who are incarcerated and their children either dont want to be bothered with them, or vice versa. I think the program is good because its keeping a relationship between the parent and child despite the circumstance.
This was not good journalism in my opinion. The fact that there are no sources other than what a police officer said is not good enough. We see the accusation but where did this information come from? And The boy is being accused of this crime, so i think some words should have been included in the story/ headline such as "allegedly" or "being accused". This was not well written
There was a lot of awkward wording in this story. I think the author could have tried to get some quotes from people who were for marijuana getting legalized, or from people who were attending the rally since there was information about a poll of people who opposed it.
I think people are going to continue to smoke and celebrate this 420 regardless if marijuana ever gets legalized or not. And I dont think people will ever be able to agree on it being "ok"
This was really good journalism. I love how the author was very descriptive in his writing. Instead of telling me about Schaefer he painted a picture which drew me in even more.
I thought this was really good. I love how the author shared his memory of Schaefer in a different form of writing. And the picture itself makes you interested to read.
I thought this was good journalism, I would have liked if the author placed links within the story related to these studies that were mentioned. I also would have liked to see if there is an updated study since one of the studies was based on 2006-2008.
I think that this topic is sad in general, that people cant accept people for who they are and that it becomes so bad that people are taking their lives. I that its important that people are aware of these issues going on in our society, and hopefully more people can reach out and help these people and overall. "If you dont have anything nice to say, dont say anything at all." We have to stop tearing down one another.
I honestly think that this story was all over the place. Im sorry about the loss of his mom; but how can the author assume that whoever wrote in the NY times that they knew of his moms sexual orientation unless I somehow missed something. The title "This Times It's Personal" goes along with the fact that the story is all opinion and only based on one side which is his own.
Thank you, I must of overlooked “opinion”.
I thought this was good journalism. I only noticed one or two spelling errors. I particulary like how the author included links throughout the story so I would be able to understand the story a little more and it showed that he sourced his information.
I have never used a cannon camera but I have heard that they are really good cameras, the best actually. I have an iphone and I love how sharp and clear the pictures out even though you have to be totally still for it to come out good. I'd be interested to see how things shift when the iphone 5 comes out. Everyone is always making changes and updating so you never know what to expect.

It is okay, but it could be better. The wording was very awkward and somewhat choppy; it made it hard for me to understand a little.
This is a very sad story because you ultimately want to know if the person is okay. I think they should try reaching out to the people he is supposed to be staying with.

This was an interesting story to read. I especially like how the author used his own children as examples. This story had me thinking to myself and even comparing like "Yes...that is so true". I think it would have been nice to get some opinions from college students on the subject and the comparison to other generations.
This would be good journalism if there was some kind of direct quote from Kweisi Mfume instead of a someone giving a "what he said quote".He still has not directly confirmed anything. Its more fair letting the subject have a say in what you are writing about.
As noted in my comments, the story was overall well written, I would just liked to have gotten the sides from the RA as well. Just to be able to get a perspective on how they see the whole situation. But overall i think it was well written
This was an interesting story because I personally had no idea this was going on around campus. I do not think it was right for Towerlight to include the actual names of the RA; there should be some kind of privacy there..But for people to steal 3000 copies of a paper like they cant be reprinted is crazy! I would have liked to get direct quotes from the RA's involved or just other RA's for opinions about the matter.
The overall format of the story was well written, but I think that the title was very misleading. When reading the story it seemed like the story itself shifted. I was trying to figure out where the story was going.

Im actually excited about the wedding, and I think he will go through with it just based on the two of them and when i see them on TV and reading articles they seem happy. Im also a sucker for romance so i believe in the fairy tale wedding and stuff. ....Ill be tuned in, like the rest of the world!
