It doesn't go into detail of the attack, but does clearly state that the crime committed is not showing our duties as a citizen.
Although I have never been on the west side of the city and I don't travel in the city much unless I'm going to a Ravens or Orioles game but I can see some of the problems with the different streets they are talking about. I don't think the West side just has a problem I think all over is being effected by this issue. The picture provided really helped me better understand the problem they are trying to fix. This article provided alot of detail and even broke down different streets in different paragraphs. I liked how this article really informed you on the issue.
At first I was wondering why is the title " Baltimores greatest cheerleader", I actually thought it was about an old Baltimore Colts cheerleader. However when I began reading the story I realized that the author got the title from an article about the former Mayor in the Baltimore Sun. I thought this was an interesting way to write the article. There could of been a few more better realiable sources, instead of one being someone that never actually met Schaefer. All in All interesting story.
This article provided a strong lede as to what the story was about. I think the author could of provided maybe a quote or two from an actual reviewer stating why he or she likes NewsTrust Baltimore and how it helps them with local news. All in all good article.
The beginning to this story had me a bit confused. The author directed his statement towards the people who really didn'nt know Schaefer but then in the following paragraph he talks about all the stuff that we do know about schaefer...a tab bit confusing. Also I feel like this aritcle should of focused a bit more on Schaefer's acheivements as to why the city of Baltimore will never forget him and focus a little less on his allies like O'Malley.
I like how the author provided several different quotes from several different sources about the former governor. I really liked how he listed some of Schaefer's biggest achievements throughout Baltimore and how he never gave up on them until they were completed. The author should of included a little sentence or two about how he died, I mean afterall isn't his death the reason this article was even written? Before reading this article I had no idea who the former governor was. I've walked passed his statue many of times and thought it was just a normal statue, little did I know the statute was just another representation of a man who changed the world.
I thought this article provided good detail. However I think it still leads us to the question of will this plan even work?
The title is a little deciving. When I think of a whiz kid I think smart, creative, inventions. Not 2 kids that play sports and help out the community.
I do enjoy this story... Well not really enjoy it I mean it is sad that Maryland has that many residents that are unemployed. However, I do like the examples listed in ways Maryland has been trying to find jobs for the unemployed.
I like this story. It is relevant to me because I do attend Towson University and I think it is interesting how they list some of the different changes that occur in Towson. However, it would of been a bit more interesting if they actually showed the pictures.
They don't provide a list of sources as to where they got their information from. I do like how they had visual graphs to show the different uses of cameras.
Yes, I do believe the author of the story provides a good understanding of where he get's his information and he even includes an interview with a supporter of gay marriage, which is good feedback to provide.
The story gives you mixed opinions on which side to take because the only example they give is about the girl who was killed in a car crash with an illegal immigrant but she was going 82 miles per hour. I think more examples could of been used to support this problem they are facing. Also the title is a little unsuited for the story and one question I keep asking myself is where are the actual facts ? The picture nor the title is relevant to the article at all.
