The two firms not talking about probable implications for their users is being a bit irresponsible. Adds to the as yet simmering privacy concerns..

So, if you are in the information business you gotta have something to give away free? With books written on this technique - which, by the way, has existed for long - the practice is bound to become a common denominator!
