A view into how stories get misreported, I see this again and again with papers across the country --simply accepting what comes in. There is an astonishing lack of effort to verify.

We need to see more of this. Work in Congress is halted, now with these ill-informed actions Justice too is falling into a dark hole created by outrageous fear mongering. Of course Holder has not held to the promises Obama made to us, but in this case he seems to be upholding the Constitution. This article gives us a look at just how serious a problem we are in here. History has shown us where demagogy and ignorance of democratic values leads, we do NOT want to go there.

"Mr. Greenspan is Flat Wrong": Pulitzer Prize-Winning Journalists Respond to Alan Greenspan's Claim that He Didn't Know about Federal Reserve's ...
Investigative journalism is so desperately needed now, having listened to both Alan Greenspan's interview and to the journalists it is clear that we NEED MORE deep digging, and FAR MORE EXPOSURE.
This all comes on Carter as he is one of the VERY few willing to speak up about what is happening in Israel today.
Blaming Iraqis for NOT MEETING AMERICAN DEMANDS? what happened to the democracy idea? that is right, it never existed. Iraqis vote again and again for the occupation troops to LEAVE and we IGNORE THE WISHES OF THE ELECTORATE AND THEIR GOVERNMENT and tell them we are taking over their oil.
This editorial is interesting for it reveals the policy of arrogance, the complete disdain for diplomacy, and utterly baseless accusations that energize the far right and have led us into an illegal war based on lies with Iraq and the death of hundreds of thousands of civilians.
An extraordinary article, I should hope that Dr. Zimbardo's observations will be closely studied not only by those who are within the system but also those outside. This is immensely important material. It is essential that we study this carefully if we are to protect our democracy. Amy Goodman on Democracy Now! offered a far more in-depth discussion.
This is a fun article, unfortunately it is very superficial. Rocky speaks out where others are criminally silent, I would have enjoyed learning more about his politics for hopefully we will be hearing more of his voice.
New York Times presents propaganda yet again, check out Associate Press for the facts, look to the NYTimes for what we are supposed to believe.
Sawyer was rude and aggressive, she did not wish to hear Ahmadinejad, she wished to tell her viewers what is what and which is witch. Ahmadinejad on the other hand spoke well, the problem is after all the furious propaganda against him can people hear what he is saying?
It is critical at this very serious time to remind people to think and this really does the job, even provides a guide.
This is WHY people in the USA have no idea of what is going on inside their own government, they are entertained by the very media that should be INFORMING THEM. And, they are NOT informed consistently. This is why they do not understand that their 5th Ammendment rights are GONE.
No this is not journalism it is propaganda, it is readying the masses for a horrorific and totally unnecessary conflagration.

Supreme Court hits Ralph Nader with $89,821 bill for his 2004 Pennsylvania ballot bid upholding first-of-kind ruling
this is excellent, one hopes it is not true. We who advocate democracy for others MUST know the state of our own, this article is one shocking clue to where it goes and that is precisely what jounalism is about.
short concise and to the point. it us helpful that it defines CEI and gives links to critical points.
