I come from a very conservative family, and I now associate mostly with staunch liberals. Both groups have always warned not to trust the government too much to protect free speech, and always to be watchful for speech-oppressive abuses of power. Therefore this is an important story.

Yes, it's god journalism because it digs quite deep into, and stays focused on, a very specific subject. Also, that subject is an important one: the possibility for a supposedly apolitical government agency to be used for partisan purposes. Even if the story is not entirely true, it is possibly a good reminder that no government should be trusted too much. We SHOULD be skeptical towards the government, and to the news we read from ALL sources, even our favorites.
