Not one mention of Valerie Plame, Brewster Jennings, the destruction to our Iran intelligence by the outing of Valerie Plame and her CIA group. Nothing. Even if the service noted that Plame and others were "allegedly" working on Iraq "WMD" intelligence, to not mention it is typical of current MSM poor journalism.

The "Iconoclast" has consistently aired stories that the American mainstream media don't cover (e.g., Downing Street memos). This is one of them. The story could be more balanced -- no one that disagrees with SFC Buswell's actions is interviewed, but that's partially because attempts to interview his superiors were rebuffed. And this is not the full story -- there is way more to this than this eludes to (e.g., see Al Jazeera http://digbig.com/4mnee) I give the Iconoclast great kudos for covering this story though.

I completely agree with the review written by Lewyn Li. In addition, I'd add that Blackburn is making sweeping generalizations based on a study with an N of 12. That is, the study tested 12 lesbian women. While it's a good pilot study, no scientist worth his or her salt is going to make sweeping generalizations to an entire population based on a study with 12 participants.

The story ignores obvious arguments, indicating a limited and predetermined point of view. The most obvious argument: these are people with underlying disorders (e.g., OCD, schizophrenia) and the expression of the symptoms of that disorder is "bias." Growing up in an environment where a particular group is singled out for bias will influence the expression of symptoms in that individual, for example. The article is okay, but it's incomplete and insufficiently researched. (From a psych professional.)
