I feel this article is more of an interview, without the interviewing question and answer. It's a lot of direct quotes from Marsian in the begining of the article. Then it gets into more detail about exactly what the art and the festival is, which is good. I feel like it is well written but more of an informational piece versus a news story.

I think this is a really well-written article with a lot of detail and good sourcing. I had no idea there were even plans for a casino to be built, let alone lawsuits against it. There are a lot of good sources, the journalist interviewed a lot of note worthy people. The author answered all the questions I had as I was reading.

From the start of the article I feel it is too wordy and fancy. It isn't written in traditional news style format. It also has very biased words in the article such as "resigned in disgrace". It gives a lot of information about Mfume, but there is limited sourcing. I'd also like to know exactly why he isn't running, not just that he definitely opted out.

This article really opened my eyes. I had no idea there was even a possibility of racial discrimination in fire departments. I did not know there were court rulings to enforce departmentsto recruit minorities. I would like to see more evidence or proof of this phenomenon though, because if anything I wouldn't think the firehouses refuse to hire minorities, I'd think that minorities just aren't applying, or the amount of minorities applying isn't equal to the amount of the majority applying.

I feel the story is rather opinionated, especially with this statement: "The national news media were slow to report on Barnes' disappearance, prompting cries of double standards and racial bias involving what otherwise seemed to be a made-for-TV case: a beautiful honors student and athlete who disappeared without a trace. Barnes is black." There is no evidence for that, no sourcing, to my knowledge it seems very opinionated. The story did go into great depth about the background of the case and the family. I'm hoping there is a followup news story to tell us more about the case.

The journalist did a very good job finding people to interview about the shooting. It gave a good synopsis at the begining of the scenario and painted the picture well, especially with the addition of the map. I really enjoyed reading this article.

I enjoyed reading this article. At first it was a lot of fact re: what buildings are empty and how much space is available. Then it went into ways they plan to fix this, which gives the reader hope. Also, there are a lot of accredited sources. It then goes into the history as to how something similar has happened. I may not agree with some of the resolutions as to how the city plans to fix it, but at least it was included in the article for awareness.

In my opinion this is more of a blog post than a news article. I like how it was giving recomendations on how to protect your identity, but I was also thinking that was pretty obvious. Then the author went into more detail about the senate bill which made the article worth reading. I feel like more information about the Bill should be in the article.

this is good journalism with a lot of detail, I especially like the added youtube video. However, I feel the article is very one sided, we see the side of Sandy Rawls, but what is the side of the representatives that don't agree with the Bill? I'd like to see quotes or their reasoning for voting against it.

This story is relevant to today. Security in airports has been "improving" since September 11, 2001, however, according to this article, it is clear that security really isn't too tight. Although the article is short, it includes a lot of important information and good souces. I would like to know how TSA is going to improve this situation in the future and I'd also like to know exactly how Wong got through security with a stolen boarding pass.

It is evident that a lot of the journalist's personal opinions show through in this article. I feel the story doesn't go into depth about what the president plans to do about the situation or why he is actually there. I don't really understand the meaning or point of the story other than Brazilian immigration at Martha's Vinyard. I don't see the problem of them working. Accidents happen and just because the driver was Brazilian doesn't mean he was at fault.
