I think this story does a good job at presenting us with a lot of facts and statistics, and keeping the reader interested. However, one may say that the author had just a twinge of bias, the author even quoted a line from a member of Mubarak family, that had a negative connotation, as the last thing the reader would remember. Is this good journalism? For the most part.
This story does a great job at presenting the facts for the reader without any fluff, although it doesn't venture out to relate it to any big "issue".It is just a good informational article.
Although the title is misleading, I do believe this journalist attempted to spread awareness of an issue. The author does a good job at making the public aware of a national problem in a more local sense, bring the story home more of less. Oftentimes, we look at the news, and forget that the "issues" affect us directly and this author does a good job of reminding us of that.
I do believe that this is good journalism, the writer takes the time to explain goals of the mayor. The author give a range of the mayors goals from creating jobs to working with the youth of Baltimore. The article was also easy to follow and overall very cohesive.
